1977, understanding that a healthy digestive system is the key to
helping Singaporeans lead a long and healthy life, the Malaysia Dairy Industries Pte Ltd (MDI)
introduced VITAGEN - the first cultured milk in Singapore before other
brands of cultured milk drink. |

In 2004, VITAGEN was re-launched to VITAGEN Less Sugar to meet the increasing needs of healthy consumers. VITAGEN Less Sugar is specially formulated for consumers who are health conscious and are concerned about their sugar intake.
Tests have proven that VITAGEN has the lowest sugar per 100ml among all cultured milk in Singapore. In fact, VITAGEN has 50% less sugar* than regular cultured milk drinks. Despite being less sugar, it still taste wonderfully delicious as it contains Fructose from fruit juice, which naturally taste sweeter than Sucrose (ie normal sugar), hence less sugar is used to attain the sweetness level.
An added goodness is that VITAGEN Less Sugar is the only cultured milk drink that is high in dietary fibre. VITAGEN Less Sugar also meets the Nutritional Guidelines of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) as a healthier choice.

LESS SUGAR is produced right here in Singapore by Malaysia Dairy Industries
Pte Ltd. In 1994, we were awarded the ISO 9002 Certification for Quality
Management System. In 2003, it was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 certification,
and renew to ISO 9001:2008 in 2010.
With the ISO certification, the company improved its internal processes,
ensuring consistent product quality and faster response to customers'
requirements. |

2001, seeing the need to assure consumers of safe & wholesome food,
Malaysia Dairy Industries Pte Ltd embarked on a food safety program
and subsequently achieved Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
certification. This program focuses on food safety from the procurement
and handling, manufacturing and distribution of the final goods. |
